Actually, it was easier than you might think! All I did was switch to the macro setting on my lens (I don't know if your lens has one, but I specifically bought a versatile lens knowing that it would be a while before I get any others) and click away! As a matter of fact I believe some of pictures I took of snowflakes(maybe not this one) were even done using auto-focus!
