More Roses

In case you're wondering, this rose just keeps on popping up in my garden so I just keep on photographing it :). It's actually kind of uplifting to leave the house when it's so cold and see a bright pink rose right there, as if it didn't care that it's not really the time for it to bloom.

Close-ups

For my close-ups I like to use the macro settings. On my camera this is pretty decent, but today I was using someone else's and it left a lot to be desired, although it's an all-around better camera. Unfortunately, at least on my camera, macro settings don't use flash, which means you need a lot of light or the picture will be, well, pathetic.
